My holiday gift to you: Less guilt
Fitting in a long run can be a challenge on the best of weeks, but add in a few holidays, some house guests and travel, and, well, things get a little dicey.

Rain, rain go away but here’s what to do if it doesn’t
Some of my good runner friends who shall remain unnamed just hate running in the rain. I, on the other hand, don’t have strong feelings about it. While it’s not my ideal situation, I’m still willing to go out for a run in the rain.
My favorite tip is to stick my iPhone in a zip-top baggie to keep it dry.

The mother of running skirts
I’m a Skirt Sports ambassador captain, which means I represent the brand and in exchange get some gear to test and a generous discount.
Now we’re clear on that, please also know that my position in no way influenced my admiration for Nicole DeBoom, who created what is thought to be the first running skirt and then launched her own company.
Check out her tips for following your dreams.
Is it just me? I’m having the hardest time with the time change and how dark it’s getting at 5:30 in the afternoon. Jeesh.

How do you feel about how dark it is so early these days? Did you find any fun reads this week?
